with baroque orchestra

This concert comprises a journey from the Renaissance to the Baroque through an assortment of Monteverdi's rarely performed Madrigals from Books 1-8, paired with later sacred works: the psalm setting, Beatus Vir, and Messa a 4 voci with continuo. A small baroque ensemble accompanies the choir.

The concert will be broadcast on CBC Radio 2 (103.3 FM in Ottawa) "Choral Concert" with host Peter Togni.
