The Ottawa Bach Choir (OBC) presents its final subscription concert of the season, Baroque Magnificence,on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 8 pm, at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, 130 Glebe Ave., Ottawa. This performance includes the majestic works of Bach, Handel and Charpentier. Bach’s early cantata, Himmelskönig, sei willkommen, BWV 182, is sung with Handel’s early masterpiece, Dixit Dominus, and Charpentier’s Exaudiat Pour le Roy. Baroque orchestra, Ensemble Caprice, and soloists will accompany the choir.

The Ottawa Bach Choir was founded in 2002 by Dr. Lisette Canton and offers a wide range of choral music from all historical periods, featuring some of Canada’s top choristers.
