The Ottawa Bach Choir (OBC) performs the final concert of its tenth anniversary subscription series, Song and Spirit, on Saturday, May 12, 2012, 8:00 pm at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, 130 Glebe Avenue.  Under the direction of its Founder and Artistic Director, Lisette Canton, the OBC will present Baroque and Contemporary works by Bach, Monteverdi, Pachelbel, Purcell, Schütz, Nystedt, Pärt, and Whitacre; including a newly commissioned piece by Ottawa composer, Nicholas Piper.

 

The OBC’s annual Silent Auction fundraiser will precede the concert, starting at 6:30 pm, and will feature certificates for restaurants and vacations, art, and much more!
